		<description>I think paywalls are so unfortunate for the consumer but you&#039;re right that there&#039;s not really a lot of other options. When NYT used to make people pay for TimesSelect content a couple years back it was just annoying and a constant hassle for any online news reader and they finally got rid of it, although I&#039;ve heard rumors that they might bring it back now -- or at least bring some form of pay-for-content system to compensate for lost ad revenue. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I don&#039;t think it can last though, whether for news or video. It&#039;s totally against the nature of how the internet works to charge for content and limit  user access, so I don&#039;t think a paywall solution can last long-term. But then that takes us back to the million-dollar question of any media, which is how to find a viable business model on the internet... I&#039;m still waiting for someone to come up with a brilliant answer to that...</description>
